Joseph Lancaster
Joseph began his technical career in 1997 starting in technical support, moving on to outsourced statistical research for companies such as IBM and Novell. Joseph later went on to program as a software engineer at Dell and served as systems integration adviser to Fortune 100 companies and state and local government. His desire for innovation led him to start his own web businesses and since has designed and managed hundreds of websites.
Surfing Expert was founded as Affordable SEO Packages in 2005 after numerous colleges and friends request that he help them market their website’s as he did his online portfolio of sites. After assisting a few, he thought maybe this was something that he should look into full time. Word-of-mouth grew his business before he even had time to create a website promoting his services. Two years later the site was launched and business grew to a handful of employees and close well known partners.

These two spirits and minds are what Joseph brings to each project, an eye for design, feeling for marketing and technical know-how to cohesively make it all work with fiscal results for the client in mind.
Joseph’s experience as a web entrepreneur gives him unique insight into the needs and demands of starting and managing an online business. He has designed and managed websites in many diversified industries including business, art, retail, professional staffing, fashion, high-tech and health care.
Joseph studied both computer science and business in Austin Texas where he was born and raised. He later moved to Los Angeles to be near the ocean and like minded individuals to spark the future. When he isn’t working he takes time with his other passions doing beach clean-ups, working with conservation and preservation groups such as the Surfrider Foundation and Heal the Bay in Santa Monica, and, when there is a clean swell with off-shore winds, he can be found out in the surfing line-up.
